Dominic Miranda

Sports Anchor/MMJ
Dominic Miranda

Dominic Miranda joined WCTV as a Sports Anchor/MMJ in June 2021.

Before making his way to the Sunshine State, Dom was a News and Sports MMJ/Anchor for WTHI News 10 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He reported on the 2020 election, the brief return of federal executions, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Dom covered Indiana State University Athletics and highlighted the stories of athletes all across the Wabash Valley.

Dom attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and graduated in 2019. Home of the Tigers and to the longest standing football rivalry in college sports, this was where Dom found his passion for sports broadcasting. He played football for three years at DePauw, however, two concussions and one torn ACL later, Dom was able to do much more in front of the microphone rather than on the field.

Dom is originally from Nappanee, Indiana--a small city about 30 minutes south of South Bend. Being so, he is a diehard Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Indianapolis Colts fan. Dom is a Hoosier through and through, but he is extremely excited to be in The Sunshine State and talking about sports! If you see Dom on the street, don't hesitate to come up and say hello.
