Driver crashes into Nims Middle School after having a medical episode

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A vehicle crashed into R. Frank Nims Middle School Friday evening causing structural damages.
The Tallahassee Police Department said that a witness called around 8:30 p.m. about an erratic driver traveling near Orange Ave and Holton Street.
Later, the driver crashed through the school’s fence and then into the building.
After the emergency medical services arrived at the scene, it was discovered that the driver had a medical episode, according to TPD.
The driver suffered no injuries, TPD said.
Superintendent of Leon County Schools, Rocky Hanna, posted on Facebook Saturday morning about the crash saying, “Up early this morning to assess the damage from a vehicle running into Nims Middle School last night at a high rate of speed.”
