Mike’s First Alert Forecast - Wednesday, Dec. 21
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - First Alert Chief Meteorologist Mike McCall has the forecast for December 21, 2022.
Expect a tranquil evening, with some patchy fog and lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Tomorrow will be nice and mild with highs in the mid-60s, and a slight chance for a few light showers.
The much-anticipated arctic cold front will move through our area early Friday morning, followed by a sunny, but cold and windy Friday afternoon with temps staying in the upper 30s to low 40s. That sets the stage for hard freezes for both Saturday and Sunday mornings with lows near 20 in the coldest area. The wind will still be blowing at 10 to 15 mph Saturday morning, so wind chills (feels like temps) could be on the low teens to around 10. Weekend highs will stay cold, even with sunshine, in the upper 30s to near 40 on Saturday and mid-40s on Sunday. Monday will still see temps down in the mid-20s, then our whole areas will see a nice, gradual warming trend into the middle of next week.
