Eastbound I-10 in Gadsden County fully re-opens hours after major crash
The crash involved three semi-trucks and a sedan, said Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol.

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Eastbound Interstate-10 in Gadsden County was shut down for hours on Monday afternoon following a major accident.
The incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. after three tractor-trailers and a sedan collided on the Interstate. Crews had to work to free someone from the wreckage, said Florida Highway Patrol Master Cpl. Patricia Jefferson-Shaw. That person was later airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
An 8 p.m. update from FHP said all three commercial drivers were injured.
A 62-year-old man from Garden Grove, Ca., who was behind the wheel of the first semi, was listed in critical condition. The second semi-driver, a 66-year-old man from Ontario, Ca., suffered minor injuries. The third semi-driver, a 67-year-old man from Louisville, Al., also sustained minor injuries. The 43-year-old man behind the wheel of the sedan was not injured, nor was his 46-year-old passenger. Both are from Pineville, La.
All eastbound lanes were shut down near exit 192 in Midway around 1:30 p.m. Troopers sent a release announcing all lanes were reopened around 8 p.m.
