TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Tallahassee Fire Department confirmed, that 35-year-old Captain Brenden Rudy, died in the Saturday night crash.

In a press release provided by FHP, they listed the driver as 34 years old. WCTV later confirmed Rudy’s age as 35 years old.
A 35-year-old man was killed Saturday night after his pickup truck collided with a tree in rural Leon County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash on Fairbanks Ferry Road at Owls Hollow Crest at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of a white GMC pickup was traveling west when he lost control and collided with a tree, according to a press release. He was later pronounced dead.
