TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Tallahassee Police Department says it has arrested a suspect in connection to Saturday’s fatal shooting on Lake Avenue.

TPD responded to the 1600 block of Lake Avenue just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, June 12. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the area.

The department says its investigation shows the shooting happened after the victim and shooter, who knew each other personally, got into an argument.

“The arrestee attempted to rob the victim as the shooting occurred and subsequently fled the scene. Sadly, the victim succumbed to his injuries,” the press release says.

Domonique Harra Colclough, 34, was arrested on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm on Sunday.

“This swift arrest is a testament to TPD’s tireless efforts and dedication to bringing justice to the victim’s family in this case,” the release says.
